About

History

The Pregnancy Center began its journey in 1983 as “Living Alternatives” as a ministry of Applegate Christian Fellowship.  In 2000 Rogue Valley Fellowship took on the ministry as an extension of its women’s ministries.  In December of 2002 non-profit status was granted and the name changed to The Rogue Valley Pregnancy Center, first located on Front Street and the Holly Street in downtown Medford.  In 2009 we were able to move to our current location behind the north Walmart & Lowe’s, providing the space to meet the growing need.  In 2011, in order to have a greater impact on hearts and lives, the Center became a medical facility doing limited obstetrical ultrasounds under the guidance of a licensed local physician.  In 2012 the name was simplified to its current name of ‘The Pregnancy Center’ and in 2016 the addition of the mobile medical unit was added to the line-up of services allowing for a further reach in the community.

Mission

The Pregnancy Center exists to provide women with confidential, compassionate, life-affirming, state-of-the-art medical care. As well as programs for women and men for pregnancy support, parenting education, post-abortive recovery and related needs whether they be medical, spiritual, emotional, social or material.
